Across the world, in Southeast Asia, there is an archipelago, Indonesia, this country is the fourth most populous and the second most diverse country in the world. Here we can find great species such as the tiger, rhinoceros, orangutan, elephant, and leopard, Indonesia was covered with large forests, but due to human activity, these are disappearing.
The palm oil industry is devastating the forests and the animals that live in them, they die burned, beaten, and often they are taken to the illegal market. The Sumatran orangutan is the one most endangered and the Bornean orangutan is approaching to this state.Their habitat is being devastated, every day thousands of hectares are destroyed, for lack of food they are forced to get closer to human villages, people are ignorant, and many times beat them or even kill them because they fear them.
If we do nothing they probably disappear. Many people are unaware that this is happening or less know what is palm oil, this oil is present in most foods, toiletries, brands such as Unilever, P & G, Nestle, Loreal, etc. In a country so far away, we can only disclose this fact and do everything possible not to use these products also we can make donations to organizations that are in Indonesia helping to the animals in danger.
